Insurances Accepted

• Most major insurances accepted.  We are expanding in this area so please call our office if you do not see your insurance listed.
  

• Comprehensive Eye Exams, including those needed to evaluate for diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma and other systemic associated eye diseases. We have a wheelchair accessible exam chair that moves out of the way, and utilize a Smart Chart that helps us obtain the best correction we can.
  
• Pediatric Exams looking specifically for problems related to reading/learning disorders, lazy eye treatment and vision therapy.  Dr. Lee receives many of his referrals from the local pediatricians, local school nurses, and Knox County Children's Developmental Services.
  
• Emergency exams on same day for such things as trauma, infections, sudden vision loss, etc.
  
• Co-management of surgical patients- Dr. Lee had Lasik surgery 15 years ago and would love to walk you through the process.  He has also co-managed hundreds of other types of surgical patients and works with all the major ocular surgical centers in Maine.  Dr. Lee maintains close relationships with many of the state's specialists, and can consult with them for special circumstance cases.
  
• Treatment of chronic eye diseases such as glaucoma and dry eye.

• We offer vision therapy for children that may be struggling with vision-related learning disorders such as tracking and focusing issues, as well as for all age groups with post-concussion syndrome.
  

Vision Therapy

• We aspire to carry all  major brands of contacts.  This way we can fit all modalities, whether it be dailies, astigmatism, multifocal, etc.  There is no contact we cannot get you.  Our goal is to keep most of the major brands in stock at competitive pricing.  Dr. Lee has received the Sunsoft Award for contact lens fitting and is confident he can fit even the most challenging prescriptions!
  

• The frames that we have chosen to sell you are the same frames our family members wear.  These are high quality frames that are warranted.  They are not mass produced frames that may have poor workmanship, hypoallergenic materials, safety compromises, etc.  Most of our frame industry consultants have over 20 years experience.  Our staff  has years of experience and does not work on commission so you're not going to buy something you don't need.
  
• The same is true for our lenses.  We want you to be safe if you are ever unfortunate enough to have to depend on your glasses to protect you in an emergency.  We also want to be able to assure you that our products will hold up to 'as advertised'.  We have teamed up with Mcleod Optical, one of the oldest and largest optical labs in New England.  They offer high quality workmanship, products that are not generically produced and they have the ability to get any product on the market.   Their lenses are FDA/OSHA-ANSI approved and completed with safety bevels.  These are things that cannot be guaranteed with discount glasses.  Working with Mcleod, we can usually have your glasses ready in just a few days!  Our products are conscientiously and competitively priced to meet the needs of the local community.   We would be happy to fill your outside prescription if you find a frame of ours your like.
